Darnley Sycamore

This Blip came as a result of the Glasgow Blipmeet a few weeks ago.

I spotted this close to the venue and thought it would make a Blip next time I was in the area (or at least fairly close like today).

The tree has a plaque which states that Mary, Queen of Scots, sat under this great sycamore tree when she nursed Lord Darnley back to health after an illness. I remember reading a while back that there had been complaints that there are so many road signs, traffic lights and lamposts blocking the view of it.

Possibly not the original tree but its a good story!

Would probably make a better picture in a few months when its in full bloom.
