Willow lady

We headed out today intending to go to St Andrews, but by chance ended up in Falkland for coffee. What a great decision! We visited the grounds and gardens at Falkland Palace , where this giant willow lady was standing in the apple orchard. We also watched a little part of a game of ‘royal tennis’ - the palace has the oldest tennis court in the world!
After a walk around the picturesque little town, we had lunch outside one of the many little pubs.
We will certainly return here when the palace reopens to visitors.
