Late summer colour

There’s still quite a bit of colour in the garden, though fewer opportunities to sit outside and enjoy it.
Mr Badger has also made an executive decision to ‘extend’ my border into the lawn. I would welcome his digging if he only dug where I wanted him to. Now I’m going to have to put up with the mess until spring, as there is no point in laying turf or seeding it while he is in digging mode. Or maybe I should surrender and extend the border.
