Grazers

Tatton Park this morning.

It’s a big place, and the weather - cool but clear, and plenty of sunshine - was just right. Although we have been here many times there are still unexplored corners which we don’t know.

Human activity was varied. Walkers ( like us), dog walkers (plenty of those), a family playing pooh sticks over a stream, flying model aircraft, lots of cyclists.

The main park is grazed by fallow and red deer, and sheep, All three make an appearance in this shot. The hind kept a watchful eye on us as the youngster suckled. In the distance the Pennine hills, I think that is a ridge leading towards Kinder Scout. .
