staycation 4 ever
When the weathers warm and the sea looks better than the Med there can be no better coast than in Pembrokeshire. We walked 7 miles of it today and regretted not wearing shorts, the forecast didn't seem to suggest it would be this warm in unbroken sunshine.
The blip is of Marloes Sands, as you can see a very busy bank holiday beach :-) In extra is the view back of the coastal path from the west end of the beach and just around the corner from here walking away from the beach we encountered the coastguard on a mission to rescue a dog that had somehow found himself stuck down the cliff. The rescue took a long time the men rightly don't start abseiling until everything is in place and double checked. In the meantime the dog was giving out an occasional yelp. The rescuer was waist deep in thickets as he descended and was winched back up with a very lucky dog and no doubt relieved and indebted to the rescuers
