Poorly Fox ..

I was preparing to go away for a musical weekend when I looked out of the window and saw a fox eating mealworms from the ground feeder in the garden.

I also noticed the poor thing had quite a nasty gash on its side, so I got my box of fox food chicken bits from the fridge and went out to feed it.

It's not one of my regular foxes, so I'm amazed at how brave it was, just standing there while I threw food to it which it slowly ate but seemed to have a bit of trouble crunching the bones ..

Maybe being injured makes animals a bit braver because they just need to take risks in order to survive, now and again.
