Kittens and butterflies ...

So I got up early and headed down to London .. very nervous about the impending concert in spite of all my practising.

I got to the rehearsal venue in good time. It's a church and one of the caretakers has this little dog, Rocky. The last time I saw Rocky she didn't have the muzzle, so I asked if it would be OK to pick her up and was told to be careful because she was a bit snappy.

I took a chance and she was happily carried around for ten minutes or so - and didn't grab my throat or bite any fingers off - what a little sweetie :)
