Happier Days

We’ve had another quiet day but I’ve knocked a couple of items off my Weilheim to-do list and the awning gear is now sparkling clean. Good time to clean it as the BBQ season, so loved by our neighbours, is about finished. Pizza for tea, fancied gyros but I got to the shop too late. Not to worry, the pizza was excellent!

This picture was taken a couple of summers ago when Wiggerl was battling Parkinson’s but still in good spirits. Not sure if his spirits failed but unfortunately his body did and we heard this morning that he had died last night. Really sad but I’m glad he’s not in pain anymore. I'll remember him like this, beer to hand, cigarillo in hand, talking about music.
