It’s Damp Out

First things first, it was off to the recycling centre to dump most of the sacks filling the car. Then a stop for S’s birthday breakfast at our local cafe; full continental plus boiled eggs and an extra breze. It hit the spot big time! Meanwhile the rain started lashing down again. Where’s it all come from and why am I getting the blame?!
Swung past Peter’s to drop off the rest of his stuff (and clear the car) and to search the cellar for his iron (success) before we took the rest of the day off. I baked a cake though, apple and peach, so that was our tea. Have to say it was great, might make that again!
