Bank Holiday Monday: Bee & Helicopter

Beautiful blue sky when we got up this morning.
I put a load of washing in the machine and MrD went off on his motorbike - around the island because the bridges were gridlocked  ...
Did an hour of gardening: pruning apple trees, cutting back twisted hazel so MrD doesn't get soaked when he's filling the bird feeders, cut back dead flowers.
Dozens of bees on the tiny flowers of a hedging plant which my neighbour usually cuts regulalry, haven's seen it flower before - the bees love it!
Nice phone chat with our T this afternoon, busy cooking with help from a mischievious little girl, love to you all :-)))) xxxx
