Tuesday: Spoke too SOON ...

... the hedge which was flowering yesterday and providing nectar for the pollinators was cut this morning ... I’ll leave the branches hanging over into my garden until the insects have had their fill. The sparrows weren’t too impressed either, about a dozen of them were bouncing around looking most indignant!!
We were awake before 7 this morning, blue sky - such a beautiful day!
I spent a couple of hours in the garden, first hour emptying the seedling tomatoes which won’t do much now that the nights are getting cooler, second hour with a panad on the garden seat watching the birds and all the insects. 
MrD has started back at his job.
After making a chilli for MrD’s dinner I spent the afternoon reading and being lazy ...
