Notes

I have plenty of paper at home. Jan actually makes books of blank paper! But somehow whenever I do work like this I end up keeping notes and measurements on a piece of waste wood, usually an off-cut. By the end of the job the relevant off-cut has almost become a magical object, filled with sacred writing and notes that only the initiated (me!) can understand.
