Sitting pretty

A day in the garden mainly weeding and there’s soo much more to do.The plants really liked the weather we had in August so there’s lots of cutting back to do.
I did sit in the arbour and watched the birds and at last managed to capture the chiffchaff with his dark legs.The bluetits tend to chase him so he’s not still for long.The little vole is still visiting picking up a nut and scurrying away.
The hybrid wildcat popped over the fence later in the day. Have not seen it for a while and have not seen the pine marten or deer either.
