This seat is encircled by ripening crab apples.

The season tickets I bought in March are proving to be excellent value. It really is a wonderful place, with really good local walks which can be made from its car park too. Pretty quiet this morning, which is always good. More volunteer gardeners than visitors early on. We talked to two who were here last Tuesday all day, weeding and dead heading in the midst of Storm Francis. That’s commitment.
