VERY lazy morning after a l...o...o...o...n...g talk on the phone on Friday night with a friend who's having a really rough time at work. She usually talks alot, but 3 hrs later I was virtually falling asleep on her on the phone.

Leek+potato soup in the afternoon and dinner at a friends house (the soup was the starter) then out to see a schools production of West Side Story. The show was done by one of the private girl's schools in Durham and they made a pretty good job of it. It's always challenging doing this sort of thing with a single-sex cast and the music can't help but lack a certain something without the timbre of male voices in the mix, but setting that aside, they had some excellent performers, the movement/dance was very well choreographed and the orchestra were brilliant.
