3 years ago today, Samba Sisters were having fun at the Viking Festival in Largs. We have all missed the festivals and galas this year, but most of all I think I have missed the FUN.

I have also missed seeing my Sisters every Monday night. Fiona (in this photo) has done a good job of keeping us connected, though. Every Monday night she has organised a Zoom meet up, and there has been a lot of WhatsApp blether. She has also used her weekly cycling time to visit us all and chat in our gardens.

The plan this week was for Fi to visit me (its Jess she really comes to see!) but Storm Gavin was coming this way too, so we opted for Plan B, which was tea and chat at the Baptist Church Cornerstone Cafe. It was the first time I've been to a cafe (as a customer) since March.

I had planned to go for a walk with Jess afterwards, and Fi suggested we all go up to the Craigs Crags behind her house, from where there is a great view of Dumfries. Jess had a great time.

Neither storms nor pandemics can stop sisterly socialising :-)
