Every day life

G had an unexpected day off today so, as we had to be out of the flat, we headed to Festival City to do the weekly shop. There wasn't much on the list, so we sat in IKEA for a bit and had a coffee.

Anyone who's followed me on Blipfoto for any length of time will know how much I love where this flower shop is placed - on the landing between two sets of escalators. The local ladies taking a selfie caught my eye. I got a couple of shots just in time before I had to get off the escalator. I, er, had a little accident with my camera. So glad it has a solid protective case to shield it when it fell.

The rest of the day was uneventful, which is just how we like it! G's result hasn't come yet. No news is good news. :))
