Today was a big day: we took M up to his new ‘home’ at university. Things have changed since my day: halls are significantly less ‘prison like’ than they were - instead of long corridors of rooms they gave a little cluster of rooms around a shared kitchen/living area. Much more civilised.
A new chapter for all of us.
