Sign of the times

The pub car park has had a Covid update. There are no cars allowed and socially distanced tables are in their place. We haven’t ventured there up to now. 
I had a phone call on my iPhone to offer me an appointment at the eye clinic for my glaucoma. The Virgin landline has been off for three days and Virgin are virtually uncontactable. I’ve been put on hold for ages, I’ve been on the website and I’ve texted but no joy. I thought a telecoms company enabled you to communicate with other people. Silly me!
