A bit chuffed.
NOT at the size of it; just at the very presence of it.
Rarely, during my checkered gardening career, have I tried carrots.
Obviously not - BUT - it seems, retrospectively, that 11/10 times it was abject failure; either sown WAY too late or attacked by the dreaded carrot root fly. Ergo this is my first real success.
If I'm 100% honest (AS IF) it's my second, but Jerra's "Ponsietta" won yesterday, so, in reality, it's my second and bigger.
FYI - it was a short variety.
