Afternoon Tea

Today we went to Ullswater lake which was very different to Buttermere where we went yesterday. We stopped off at a hotel to have coffee. The views were amazing. We then headed down Kirkstone Pass towards Lake Windermere. The drive was breathtaking. Totally uninhabited and just spectacular views.
We arrived in Bowness on Windermere and quickly turned back as it was so crowded. We headed back up the pass, different scenery from this angle, and found the fabulous Leeming House hotel by the side of Ullswater where we spent a very jolly couple of hours chatting and having afternoon tea. Another fabulous day in the Lake District.
