Another sleety day
Today the crown roof filled with slush (1920s suburban houses often have a small flat roof at the top to make the house roofline look a bit lower). If the drain blocks you can end up with a several inches of water in it which inevitably finds a way through the roof and into our attic room. Today it began to do that as the slush piled up and blocked the drain. So I had to get up there to bail it out and de-slush the drain - very helpfully, the house has settled a little since it was built and the drain is on the higher end of the flat roof. Someday I'll have to put in a new drain).
