Sky boots ....

A frustrating day weather wise. Showers then the wind picked up so went and checked the wheat straw down the road. It was nearly dry enough to bale, so came home and headed back down the road with the baler. Got 9 bales made and the heavens opened . Just to add insult to injury, the sun was shining at home and across Edinburgh . Sat and waited a while for it to dry up enough to bale the rest of the field . Not brilliant, but there were 2 men with tractors and trailers waiting in the field to cart them home, costing me more money if they went home empty !
Back home by 6 pm and back down the road to feed the away from home cattle . Back home by 8.30 pm and it was nearly dark. Where has this year gone ?
Spotted this pair of boots hanging from a phone wire on my travels earlier. They were to high up to see if they were my size !
