Cat flap
I liked what the clouds were doing as I sat on a bench in Mill Road Cemetery at lunchtime. It was quite the sun trap, so although it is already September, all is not lost.
The beeping cat flap was the cause of some head scratching first thing. Luckily it turned out to be a battery issue rather anything that required the extracting of the electronic chip from under either of the cats’ skin.
In the evening I went along to one of Cambridge’s posh dining spots with Thomasina and Charlie. Coughing up twenty quid for a hunk of meat isn’t my norm as I could buy ten days’ worth of cheese sandwiches for that amount, but it was a delightful change to the routine, with stellar company.
