Day 4 of Annandale Way

Day 4 of the Annandale Way - a very full 16 miles today, as we extended the route slightly to reach accommodation in Ecclefechan ... and it just happened to be the wettest day of the week too! Indeed, I do believe we were in the middle of an 'official storm'  ;-)

Main snap shows the River Annan in full spate - just look at that rain and the colour of the water! 1st extra just to reinforce the point! And I cannot tell you how welcome the sight of that sign in the 2nd extra was :-))
