Look up #2

Sitting enjoying a bit of sunshine and watching the robin flitting centimetres from my feet and the long tailed tits looping from branch to branch when I heard an unusual airborne engine.  Had my camera beside me and grabbed quick shots. It's heading west in the main blip.
Extras: still heading west, heading back easterly direction

I couldn't not find out what sort of plane it was. I'm no plane geek as I mentioned before but I am curious.  Some research yielded that its a de Havilland DH89 Dragon Rapide of plywood construction.  A 1930s short haul plane capable of carrying 6-8 passengers.  Our house was built in the 1930s and previous residents might gave viewed this plane on a regular basis.
