MOUNTAINS

We packed and paid up but stayed for a few more hours poolside at the Kynisha Palace ...it was hard to leave.
# we drove up, up and higher and higher....the views were amazing.
# we then drove nearly to the top of Ancient Mystras...(to climb from top to bottom it could take a few hours...the picture down not show it’s size at all). The Rev walked to the top and then we both walked 1/3 of the way down. The Rev went back up to get the car and I carried on walking in flip flops over cobbles in the heat...utterly ridiculous!!!!

#we then drove for 30 mins up, up higher and higher on extremely windy roads with lots of Beware rock fall signs!!! The Rev did very well and we were relieved when we saw the Kalamata bay...30 mind descent down more narrow windy roads.

#our hotel gamble was ok....Comfy Boutique....comfy definitely but not quite boutique!!! However the staff are extremely helpful and accommodating....kettle, tea tray sorted for us.

Evening....off to search for Moussaka!!!
