Spot the ears!

A busy sort of morning but then an exhilarating walk along the shore below the cliffs. It's very rocky, some wonderfully shaped ones, little crevices and pools, little patches of sand and shells.

After the gales we've had recently I was wondering what we would find but it was mainly banks of sea weed, laminaria, locally known as ware. Lottie found some interesting bird carcasses but I persuaded her to leave them alone!

She does love beaches, but dipping her toes in is as far as she's prepared to go!

The Hoy hills in the distance. Usually Iain at Creel blips them, but I decided to take the liberty!
