Season of Blackberries

Brambles grow easily here but they are also cut back frequently but I was able to find a few blackberries around the farmyard.  Every autumn I fill the empty spaces (if there are any this year) in the freezer with Bramley apples and farm blackberries.  This will carry me through the winter with apple crumbles!
