Old Salty Sea Dog, Leysdown, Isle Of Sheppey
We're getting used to our micro trips on a Sunday to the Isle of Sheppey. This time it was a trip to Leysdown, which felt like the home of the static caravan (which I rather love, especially the more individual ones), some of which you can see in the main shot I took today. For all that, though, it seems like a really clean well kept place and the town itself was bustling with people. The beach was gloriously majestic - a huge, sweeping curve of sand and pebble beach (with millions upon millions of shells which crunched under our feet as we walked along), but almost deserted of the human form (see extra).
The dog belonged to a family just out of shot and had quite a bark on it when it spotted me and my brother but it was utterly harmless. I think it felt it was it's duty to protect it's owners however slight the threat!
