What a gorgeous day it has been! So glad, as this is the day the Ards Man and crew are sailing home over the Irish Sea from the Mull of Kintyre. This is the crossing I don’t always love, only because it takes so long (about 8-10 hours) and I feel obliged to stay out on deck the whole time.

This is a good day for the crossing as there is wind to sail and it’s not right on the nose, and it’s sunny! Meanwhile I have been to a friend’s house for Sunday lunch and am now back home awaiting the call to go collect the sailor from the marina.

Took the photo of the anemones crowded around our palm tree on the way in from the car. Blip done!
