Tomatillo

I went up to the allotment and did a bit of strimming - found the noise quite soothing. Runner and borlotti beans steadily producing now,  and picked up a few other bits. A few runt-y little courgettes - they'll soon be past it. But one of the tomatillo plants that I'd planted out because it was becoming spindly and pathetic on the windowsill has found a second wind - flowers look great, don't know if we'll get fruit. Point taken that I should transplant them outdoors earlier in the season, like the tomatoes.

Did some chores. My brother's s-i-l rang up to share the feeling of shock, which persists in us all.
