Hot Head
I went out for breakfast where I can eat outside in the shade. I stay as long as I can tolerate the heat, either talking to folks or doodling in my iPad. One way or another, I always enjoy my time there and have never been shy about chatting with strangers. I don't check the temperature because I don't want that to influence my stay or leave decision. By the time I had enough and got home, it was over 100°/38° and I was drenched in sweat. That made it "strip and dunk" time. The blip was taken post-head dunk. It's even hotter at the moment, so there's no way I'm leaving in search of a blip. Nope, inside for the duration. So wet, mussed up hair it shall be. I used a NIK Silver Efex Pro Antique Plate filter to make it more interesting.
My friend and I went to Dairy Queen last night. When we arrived, there were almost thirty cars in line. I think this is a perfect example of how everything is relative. It had cooled down enough for people to feel comfortable being out. It was only 97°/36° - downright refreshing!
