Friends In High Places

Eyeball injection day at the macular clinic - or rather it wasn’t. Still macular clinic day but no injection required today as the steroid implant is still working it’s magic. Friend Lucy took me over and Samantha came along for the ride, we detoured to the Upperdeck at the marina for coffee and toast before Lucy dropped us at home.
Brief ‘pit stop’ before heading down town to meet friend Steve and have a bite to eat for his birthday. Lunch over we headed to Custom House Quay for a beer or three.

Bumped into two of my friends, LtCdr Trevor Brookes, the Naval Liaison Officer for Falmouth and Commodore Jamie Miller, ex Naval Regional Commander for the South West.
