In Future Try To Remember

Little House On The Prairie Playing Field.

I never remember to take the before and after photographs but trust me when we first arrived you could not see this building for the overgrowth and ivy.
We strimmed a path to the gate and then gradually forced the gate open, strimming and cutting as we went.
Working our way round the building clearing as we went between fence and walls was hard going, especially for the two of us in shorts!!
Once we had access to the building walls the extent of the ivy coverage was apparent but a couple of hours had that stripped away.
The building is due to be inspected/surveyed but we can come back in a week or so when the ‘stubble’ has returned to normal for more cutting and strimming to finish it off.
Home for a long shower before liberally dabbing the scratches and cuts with Dettol.

Smartly dressed it was off to the local Sea Cadet Unit, the T.S Robert Hichens, for the ‘Benefactors Evening’.
