Noises from the SW Front

By Aestus

The end is nigh...or something like that.

The impact of the smoke from the California wildfires on our view of the sun, about 40 minutes before dusk. The low-lying smoky layer of air has been hanging around for days. The climate is drier so there is more fuel than ever. The western US is a tinder-box just waiting for a lightning strike or a stupid human to light the touch paper. Climate change deniers are welcome to come out for a camping trip. We can let karma sort them out.
