Slow Cooker

Today’s picture is of my new slow cooker, which was due to be delivered on Monday 14, but arrived this morning; thanks Amazon. I have had my other slow cooker for years, although it has never been big enough to cook a whole chicken or two lamb shanks. So lacking “normal” retail therapy I decided that a new family sized one was in order. I like to cook enough for us for two meals, one to eat and one to freeze and I can now do that.

The temperature today was seventeen degrees Celsius at GMT noon.
