Pyracantha Berries
This morning I loaded up the new slow cooker to make leek and potato soup for tea. As some people have mentioned, the metal base does get quite hot so caution is required.
I went outside to put some rubbish out and noticed that the Pyrocantha shrubs along our front border had more berries on them than I have ever seen. We planted them some while ago to reinforce the front hedge. They were a stupid price as they were all dying, but three-quarters of them have flourished; we have orange, yellow and red berries. Some have grown quite big and needed tying into the existing hedge so between us we I did it this morning.
An afternoon of craftwork and a Zoom meeting this evening.
The temperature today was eighteen degrees Celsius at GMT noon.
