Day Trippers

The rugby club is a COVID Testing Station so I have been opening the doors into the toilet area in the morning and closing late afternoon.

As soon as I had opened up this morning we set off for Exmouth, neither Clare or I had been before and now, at the end of the day, we are a little ambivalent towards the place. No swimming, surfing etc off the beach owing to the current, lots of elderly people and crowded. Nevertheless we enjoyed our day, amazing views across to Dawlish Warren, a glimpse CTC Lympstone and a pleasurable amble around town before coffee and cake.

Sam was happy, we lunched in a vegan cafe, Clare was happy there were haberdashery shops, I was happy, walking in the fresh air and sunshine.

Back home for an RNA Zoom Meeting, a bite to eat and an early night.
