Today was meant to be my day off, but I was invited to attend some training at work.
Geek that I am, I couldn’t refuse!

Our latest piece of kit is a 3D intra-oral scanner and the possibilities are endless!
From my point of view though I think the boss has more ideas lined up it means no more traumatising patients with gobfuls of alginate for impression taking.
A quick whizz round with the scanner and voila! A full 3D image of the teeth ready to send to the lab.

Stuff like this really fascinates me and to be given the opportunity to train to use it, once again proves what a great practice I’ve finally found, which is why I really don’t mind giving up my time for them.

As much as I’ll enjoy the weekend off, I’m already thinking about who I can practice on next week! ;-)
