Frost Beauty....

There was a frost this morning. We knew it was relatively heavy as we heard helicopters droning away in the distance well before dawn. In our area they would have either been hovering over the cherry orchards or grapevines on the verge of bud burst. Maisie and I walked very early. She wore her very fetching pink coat with white fluffy collar. She went into the river wearing it. Silly dog. Friends took her for a second walk with a chocolate lab called George this afternoon.
