A Cap of Gold.....

This morning friend Thelma visited us to meet “The Fluffies” ... aka Myrtle and Marigold. Like us, Thelma is a cat lover. We had a lot of fun playing with the two Fluffies. Pets are such a special part of our lives. This afternoon I visited the Taylor Dam to check up on the current bird life. I also spent time with artist friends who had spent the day painting. One of them had her motorhome there.... very comfy. There are dozens of Black Swans and their families of various ages at the lake. Here is one of the babies tucked up close to its mother with the late afternoon sun shining on both. The wee cygnet is wearing a little cap of gold.
