Thankful

Thankful for my garden, imperfect though it is.

A lovely lady from church who has a big beautiful productive garden, told me during lock down that their garden was finished and didn’t need any more work (at the time). I marvel that it is even possible to have a garden that doesn’t need work.

I am just so grateful for the space, the air, the work, the escape, the play space, the occasional prettiness of it, for the distraction of it, for the hospitality of it, for the birds, for the sunshine, for the opportunity it gives us to have pets ... and I could go on.
