When is a fritillary not a fritillary?
When it is the Queen of Spain. Must have lepidopterists in stiches that one.
For once I am confident that this is a Queen of Spain Fritillary but the species does not seem to be a real fritillary at all.... Hey-ho.
I have been sorting out my (many) butterfly photos and putting them on line - here if perchance you should be interested.
