Caution - engineer at work

Earleir this year, my mpther was getting rid of the old cine projector and I said I'd see if it still worked. The answer was that it didn't but the ngineer was put on the case and the problem was rapidly identified as a broken drive belt. Elastic bands were subsituted and it does now work - although the bands melt after five minutes of use and then need replacing.
Fun to watch the films with footage from 1961 - all very period piece. Much entertainment at my attire from all and sundry.
