Jazz in the morning. Potting up the bamboo this afternoon. A sunny, late summer afternoon. 
Arsenal enjoy a good win for the first game of the season and played very well. A good day except hearing that a drummer I used to play with died suddenly last week and the young man stabbed to death in Birmingham last Saturday night was a colleague of Rod who I played with this morning. Life is so fragile we have to enjoy and make the most of what we have.
