Protruding Fungi
We went for a walk along the ridge to Bolsterstone this morning. These fungi were part of a small group poking through the dried, dead, beech leaves. The signs of coming autumn are everywhere. There was a chill in the air at times, but it was pleasant walking weather and a good morning to be out. We also collected another generous crop of blackberries.
Some garden tidying this afternoon preparing for the pergola to be erected tomorrow if all goes well.
