This little juvenile Goldfinch is going through the not so pretty phase developing the coloured plumage on it's head.

Thank you for your messages regarding Mum. She is home, sporting a black eye to be proud of and a few other sundry bruises. I will not be going to the park for a few days now so I will have to use my imagination for my daily Blips!
