Calm Restored

A relaxing Saturday and lovely cool weather. Did a bit of weeding in the garden, found more end-of-season color in the sprawling zinnias, etc., and picked a few mediocre tomatoes and A Bean. Hopefully there will be more. I was happy to find this anemone blooming (extra) - my first success with them.

Sister Kristie sends photos of a smoky Haystack Rock on the Oregon coast, but is doing well.

Couple errands, a long talk with friend Swetha (our daughters are friends and have been comparing college notes), and a detective show tonight. With cousin Shelley, and Bananagrams, and pie.
