Water on the Wall

A rest day after an eventful night, with a midnight trip to Spain, where they couldn't really help because of Covid, except to say that it wasn't Covid but "golpe de sol", as we'd figured, and then Mike developing toothache, as well as getting up to check Karis was OK during the night. Anyway, Karis is a lot better and Mike is on antibiotics, after managing to get a slot with the dentist.

Managed a sunset trip to Monsaraz, which was as beautiful as ever, and they are making progress with re-building the walkway around the outside of the town.

Gratefuls:
- Karis getting better and not worse
- learning lessons about looking after guests from cold climates better (we thought it was a cool day)
- a few drops of rain falling, like maybe ten, and the smell of petrichor
